The pilot has lost consciousness. Getting out of unconsciousness was not easy. When he wakes up, he sees broken control panels around him, hears the smell of burning insulation, somewhere behind him a broken device crackles and spews sparks, the glare from which unevenly illuminates the ship’s interior. Having regained consciousness, the pilot is trying to remember the situation that happened to him.
“The first thing that comes to his mind is to check if the emergency power is working.
The pilot presses a few keys — and oh, miracle! — the central monitor comes to life.
— We need to check all the systems.
After launching the necessary programs and systems, the computer displays a message — “The number of faulty ship elements reaches 70 percent. The ship cannot take off ”
The viewer sees the Pilot’s despair and hopelessness.
Having put on a spacesuit, the Pilot leaves the ship — it is necessary, by all means, it is necessary to get to the expedition!
He steps his foot on the surface of an alien planet. An alien desert landscape, the light of the dim sun barely breaks through the atmosphere. Heaps of rocks of a strange shape protrude here and there from the soil of the desert. The pilot determines the direction of the search using the computer.
And then we the viewer begins to see everything through someone’s incomprehensible subjective gaze — someone covertly examines the Pilot and his ship.
The pilot doesn’t notice anyone. Overcoming the aching longing in his heart, he begins to search.
What awaits him?
What are the dangers ahead?
Will he make it to the expedition?
And who is watching him? …
Our film should be the same. With the help of the possibilities of modern computer animation, it is possible to realize another story of space exploration and contact with other races.
As the trailer for the film, which was completely made in Kazakhstan, shows, the film will use all existing 3D animation technologies.
But what matters most is the idea, script, character imagery and animation.
Everyone knows that there is a shortage of good animated films in Kazakhstan. We want to attract the viewer to our domestic cartoons, to cultivate in them the habit of watching our national products, and this is achieved by increasing the level of animation so that the viewer watches our films on a par with foreign ones. If the film is interesting, the viewer will go to cinemas himself. Modern animation has almost limitless possibilities for realizing creative potential.
Our goal is that the viewer should enjoy watching our nation films.
